Spot colour is a process used to print one or two colours on your printed page.
This method is more economical as you need just one or two plates as opposed to
4 plates in full colour.
To use spot colour in your layout you must save pictures as grayscale and set
all colours in the palette to Spot.
This way of print is most widely used for letterheads, NCR sets, compliment
slips and invoices.
Spot colour is very useful when you have a specific pantone that you would like
apart from the standard CMYK colours. Blue chip clients usually require this as
they have a separate company logo that can be printed using spot colour.
*Prices advertised on spot colours exclude Metallic and Hexachrome pantones
